Students of Black studies have entered such fields as education, business,Ìýlaw,Ìýhealthcare, nonprofits, public history, the arts and journalism.

Specifics

  • The Minor in Black Studies is a perfect complement to any major at the University of Tampa.

    • 20 total credit hours
    • One to two courses in each of these designated criteria areas: Global Perspectives, Social Science and the Law, Black Arts and Cultures
  • Students can choose from over a dozen possibilities in fields including art, literature, communication, history, philosophy, psychology and sociology.
