W. Michael Hendricks, vice president for strategic enrollment planning, joined the University in July 2022.

He brings more than 25 years of sustained achievement and professional commitment to advancing the practices and collaborative nature of the enrollment management profession to the University of Tampa.

Prior to joining ÌÒñ«ÉçÇøampa,ÌýHendricks served as vice president for enrollment management at Furman University in Greenville, SC, and vice president for enrollment management at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He was also the Dean of Admissions at Widener University in Chester, PA, and held various positions in enrollment management areas at Fairleigh Dickinson University in NJ, where he also served as an assistant football coach.ÌýPrior to his career in higher education, Hendricks worked for The Pillsbury Company in sales and marketing.

Hendricks holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University, where he was a member of the varsityÌýfootballÌýteam and earnedÌýa Master of Arts in teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a doctorate in education from Widener University. Several of his scholarlyÌýarticles haveÌýbeen published in various enrollment management and admissions journals.Ìý
